Derek M. Hertges, CPA

Derek Hertges is a Financial Advisor and CPA with a strong background in both financial planning and tax strategy. From Northeast Iowa originally, Derek moved to San Francisco after college where he began his career in Big 4 accounting. In this role, he audited some of the largest investment institutions and insurance companies in the world. Derek holds a Bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa.

With a deep understanding of both the financial and tax landscapes, Derek takes a strategic, tax-efficient approach to helping clients grow and protect their wealth. He believes in a wholistic approach to financial planning, aligning every aspect of a clients’ financial lives to support their long-term goals.
